Introducing Keno

Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It’s typically seen as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game consists of numbers being drawn. The goal is to pick the numbers that will be drawn. The game of Keno can be either quick or slow based on the casino. By playing Keno online you can control the speed of the game. Personally, I love live keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you want, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you do not need to be in the lounge to participate and win. For example, you could put in a ticket for twenty games and then head off to wager on another game in the casino or even your room if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is played on a board. The Keno board consists of 80 numbers total – numbered one to eighty. The first 40 are referred to as the top half and the bottom forty are called the bottom half.

Playing Keno

Every game of Keno plays out the same. The game begins, and 20 numbers are selected. The casino may be utilizing the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and chosen, just like the lottery on television. Other casinos use computers. If a number you picked is chosen, that is called a "hit." When all 20 numbers have been selected, the round ends and winning tickets are paid-out.

There is an abundance of diversity in the game of Keno. For instance, you may pick 1 number, two numbers and so on up to 20 numbers. Typically, you have to hit most of your numbers to come away with anything. For instance, if you choose six numbers, you will normally have to get three to earn your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The pay outs in Keno are pretty good. The chances of coming away with a win is dependent on the total numbers marked. For example, if you select 2 numbers, you have a six percent chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their very own pay outs. If you are playing online, make sure you shop around for the greatest payouts first.
