Introducing Keno

Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It’s basically seen as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game consists of numbers being drawn. The goal is to pick the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be rapid or leisurely based on the casino. By playing Keno online you can set the pace of the game. For me, I love real life keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you want, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you do not have to be in the lounge to participate and win. For example, you can put in a ticket for 20 games and then go gamble on something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you’re staying at the casino.

Keno Game Board

The game is bet on on a board. The Keno board consists of 80 total numbers – number one though eighty. The first 40 are known as a the top portion and the 2nd forty are referred to as the bottom portion.

Enjoying Keno

Each round of Keno plays out the same. The game begins, and 20 numbers are picked. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and picked, just like the lottery on TV. Other casinos use computers. If a number you picked is chosen, that’s called a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been picked, the game finishes and winning tickets are paid.

There is an abundance of options in the game of Keno. For instance, you can pick just one number, 2 numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Typically, you have to get a majority of your numbers to win anything. For instance, if you pick 6 numbers, you will normally have to get three to get your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The pay outs in Keno are fairly big. The odds of winning is dependent on the total numbers picked. For example, if you select two numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino has their very own payouts. If you are looking to play on the internet, make sure you shop around for the biggest payouts first.
