Introducing Keno

Keno is one of those games you will know about or you don’t. It’s typically deemed as a lottery in the casino. Like the lottery, the game consists of numbers being drawn. The object is to pick the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be rapid or leisurely based on the casino. By gambling on Keno on the net you can set the speed of the game. As for me, I like real life keno. You sit in a lounge, if you like, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you don’t need to be in the lounge to play and be a winner. For example, you could put in a ticket for 20 games and then go compete in something else in the casino or even your suite if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is played on a board. The Keno game board consists of eighty total numbers – numbered 1 to 80. The 1st 40 are referred to as the top half and the 2nd forty are known as the bottom half.

Participating in Keno

Each round of Keno plays out the same. The game begins, and 20 numbers are selected. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and picked, exactly like the lottery on television. Some other casinos utilize pc’s. If a number you marked is selected, that’s known as a "hit." When all 20 numbers are selected, the game finishes and winning tickets are cashed-in.

There is a lot of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you may select a single number, two numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Usually, you have to hit a majority of your numbers to win something. For instance, if you choose 6 numbers, you will normally have to get 3 to earn your money back.

Keno Payouts

The pay outs in Keno are fairly good. The odds of winning is based on the total numbers marked. For example, if you pick two numbers, you have a 6% probability of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their very own pay outs. If you are going to play online, be sure you shop all over for the biggest payouts first.
